DAY 1

Join Wolf's for an unforgettable journey to Kentucky to experience the grand Thunder Over Louisville event from the luxury of the KFC YUM! Center featuring a stunning view of the air show and massive nighttime fireworks display over the Ohio River. Explore Kentucky's bourbon heritage, connection to horses and history, as well as a visit to the Ark Encounter. Your adventure begins with meal and rest stops at your expense enroute to Florence, Kentucky where you will stay one night at the Hampton Inn Cincinnati/Airport South (859-283-1600). Hotel amenities include a seasonal outdoor pool, fitness center and business center with complimentary Wi-Fi. Guest rooms feature a mini-refrigerator, coffeemaker, hairdryer and complimentary high-speed internet access. After check-in, enjoy the remainder of the night to relax and unwind.

DAY 2

Enjoy a deluxe continental breakfast included at the hotel as you prepare for check-out and depart for your self-guided exploration of the awe-inspiring Ark Encounter. The largest timber frame structure in the world and an engineering masterpiece, the Ark stands seven stories tall and spans 510 feet long (equivalent to a football field and a half long), 85 feet wide and 51 feet high. Built according to the dimensions given in the Bible, enter Noah's world and tour three decks filled with scores of stunning exhibits that will allow you to experience what his life may have been like while on the Ark. Ark researchers estimate a maximum of around 7,000 animals were on board, and Noah and his family still had sufficient space for food, water and other storage. How did Noah fit all the animals on board? How did Noah care for all the animals? How did Noah build the Ark? These questions and much more about the year-long global Flood are answered in the mind-blowing and thought-provoking exhibits. During your self-guided visit, take time for lunch on your own in Emzara's Kitchen featuring comfort foods and some specialty items. Next, you board the motorcoach and travel to the historic Louisville Stoneware Company for a tour and hands-on paint your own pottery experience. Founded in 1815, this historic kiln and pottery company ranks among the oldest continuously operating stoneware potteries in the U.S. Their pieces are durable (oven, microwave dishwasher safe), built to last for generations, and some have even earned a place in the Smithsonian or the White House. Tour the factory, watch artisans at work, and take time to roll up your sleeves and paint your own piece to commemorate your visit to Louisville. Afterwards, you depart for your host hotel for the next three nights, Hampton Inn Louisville-Airport (502-366-8100). In-room amenities include a coffeemaker, HDTV, complimentary high-speed internet access and iron/ironing board. The hotel features a seasonal outdoor pool, fitness center and business center with complimentary Wi-Fi. After a brief time to freshen up, you will have dinner included at a local restaurant. You then return to the hotel to retire for the night.
