DAY 1

Travel with Wolf's to St Michael's on Maryland's Eastern Shore, a quaint waterfront town that offers a blend of history, culture and maritime flavor. Speaking of flavor, upon arrival in St. Michael's you will have lunch included at the Crab Claw Restaurant. (There are steps that you will need to take to get into the restaurant) The area where the Crab Claw stands known as Navy Point, was originally a marsh that was filled in with discarded oyster shells. Today, the Crab Claw is a St. Michael's Landmark and a must to dine at when visiting the nautical town. Enjoy lunch included today featuring a Delmarva Baked Chicken & Crab Cake combo. Following lunch, you will board the Patriot Cruise vessel for a 65-70 minute voyage during which time the Captain and crew will offer detailed history of St. Michael's, the Eastern Shore and the Chesapeake Bay Watershed, the Battle of 1812, and the history of the amazing mansions along the banks of the Miles River including two sites that were used to film the movie "The Wedding Crashers". After your educational and entertaining experience, you will have free time to explore the town that dates back to the mid-1600's when it served as a trading post for area tobacco farmers and trappers. St. Michaels is the center of Maryland's historic and picturesque Eastern Shore. This charming seaside resort town reflects its colonial past, as many of its homes date back to the early 1800's when British land agent James Braddock purchased 20 acres and deeded 58 lots. Today, St. Michael's has a wide range of small boutique shops featuring jewelry, nautical accessories, fine classic and modern art, apparel, antiques and specialty foods. Remember to wear comfortable shoes to explore the downtown and all that it has to offer its visitors. Late afternoon, you will board your motorcoach for return home with a fast-food stop along the way
