Day 1
Today, your travels take you to Columbia, Maryland, to embark on a magical memory, with Toby's Dinner Theatre's production of, "The Sound of Music". Enjoy a mouthwatering brunch buffet with various breakfast and lunch entrees, including a carving station and desserts. Next, no need to leave your seat, as Toby's "theatre in-the-round" offers a great view of the dramatic, heartwarming musical of The Sound of Music. Based in Austria of 1938, a young postulant, Maria, is sent to serve as a governess to the seven children of the imperious Captain von Trapp. While finding much love and joy in bringing music to a broken family, unfortunately the forces of Nazism take over Austria, and the entire von Trapp family must make moral decisions. This Tony and Oscar winning musical will bring to you many cherished songs, such as: "Climb Ev'ry Mountain", "My Favorite Things", the title number "The Sound of Music", and many more! Following the show, you will depart for home.
