DAY 2

Wake to breakfast included at the resort before you board the motorcoach for a day of exploration beginning with a narrated cruise on the M/S Mount Washington. This first-class, 230-foot excursion vessel is the flagship of the fleet, takes you on a relaxing cruise on the crystal-clear waters of New Hamsphire's largest lake, Winnipesaukee, with narration provided by the ship's crew. The majestic White Mountains create a picturesque backdrop for your scenic excursion. Don't forget to have camera in-hand to capture photographic memories of your cruise. Once back on land, you have free time for lunch on your own and shopping in the town of Wolfeboro, a charming, little waterfront town. Next, visit the Moultonborough Old Country Store and Museum, a classic New England country store. This authentic, old country store and museum is one of the oldest surviving businesses in the U.S. dating back to 1781. Visitors are invited to browse artifacts from the Lake regions history and to shop a variety of country store items including maple syrup, cheeses, penny candy, candles, wrought iron hardware and even giant pickles. Afterwards, you return to the resort for dinner included and the rest of the night to relax and unwind at the resort.

DAY 3

Breakfast is included at the resort before you set out to explore New Hampshire's spectacular Mt. Washington Valley. You start your day with a bird's eye view of the area with a Mount Washington Cog Railway excursion. Board the Mount Washington Cog Railway for the thrill of a lifetime as it carries passengers up a three-mile-long trestle and the steepest railroad tracks in North America to the 6,288-foot summit of Mount Washington. In 1869, Sylvester Marsh opened this, the world's first mountain-climbing cog railway. Visitors are awe-struck by the unparalleled panoramic views spanning the mountains and valleys of New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, north into Canada, and east to the Atlantic Ocean. At the conclusion of your dramatic climb above the clouds, you have lunch included at the Omni Mount Washington Resort. A favorite New England retreat of presidents, poets and celebrities, you will have some time to take a self-guided tour of the hotel with a map provided to navigate your way around. Next, you take a scenic gondola ride in an enclosed 4-person car 1.3 miles up to the summit to enjoy refreshing breezes and stunning mountain views. Now, it's time to get your head out of the clouds and focus on the Kancamagus Highway, one of New England's most scenic routes with covered bridges, waterfalls and wildlife. You will make photo stops along the way as you travel through the White Mountain National Park. Upon return to the resort, you can freshen up and then gather with your fellow passengers for an included Beachside BBQ followed by Beach Fire and S'mores (weather permitted).

DAY 4

Breakfast is once again included at the resort. Today is your day to do as little or as much as you please at the resort or take an optional excursion aboard the Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad with a Picnic Lunch included during the ride (Note: This is an optional tour and an additional fee of $37 per person applies and must be booked and paid in full at least 30 days in advance of tour's departure.) The railroad line was built in 1849, which was well in advance of development on the then-remote lake. Once a part of the Boston & Maine Railroad that brought tourists to the lake for vacations from the late 1890's to the 1950's, you will view the beautiful vacation homes lining the rail on one side of the train and scenic, panoramic views of the lake on the other side. During the ride, you have an included box lunch to enjoy. Following the excursion, you return to the resort to enjoy free time to take advantage of the amenities. For those who remain at the resort, you have the day to do as you please. Dinner this evening is included beachside with the remainder of the night to enjoy the resort amenities.
