En route to Niagara Falls, Canada we will make appropriate meal and rest stops. Upon arrival at the border to Canada, we will have to individually present valid identification and follow procedures as instructed by border patrol representatives. Late afternoon we will arrive at the Clifton Victoria Inn at the Falls (905-357-1626) for two nights. The glorious Clifton Victoria Inn is conveniently located near the Falls and offers an indoor pool, whirlpool and sauna, a business center with high speed internet access, and complimentary newspaper available in the lobby. The spacious, well-appointed guest rooms feature a coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and complimentary in-room movies. After a brief time to freshen up, we will depart for dinner which will be included at a local restaurant. Following dinner, we will depart for The Meridian Centre and our first concert featuring the incredibly talented pianist/vocalist Mickey Gilley. For most of his career, Mickey lived in the shadow of his cousin, Jerry Lee Lewis, playing a similar fusion of country, rock, blues and R&B. In the early 70's, he managed to breakthrough into country stardom, but it wasn't until the late 70's when he became associated with the urban cowboy movement, that he became a nationally known superstar. In addition to his musical stardom, the film Urban Cowboy was released which was based on Gilley's Club and featured a cameo by none other than Mickey himself. In the early 90's, Mickey became one of the first country stars to open a permanent theatre in Branson, Missouri. Opening for Gilley will be Nathan Carter who has also had the extreme pleasure to have performed with Daniel O'Donnell. At the conclusion of the performance, you will board the motorcoach and drive by the Falls to witness the Festival of Lights display that illuminates the thunderous wonder making it multi-colored water and light masterpiece en route to the hotel where you will retire for the evening.

Your day begins with a special breakfast including a musical tribute featuring the Magic of Motown. This groovin' rhythm and blues band will have you singing along to the songs that were popular when JFK was President, Aretha was the Queen of soul and the times were a changin'. Early afternoon, you will travel to the Meridian Centre for a concert featuring one of the first teen pop sensations of the 50's, Neil Sedaka. Singer, songwriter, composer, pianist and author are all words fitting to describe this impressive entertainer who has been performing for more than fifty years. It was not rock 'n roll, but classical music that would shape Sedaka into the musician that he is today. Sedaka's career catapulted after Connie Francis had recorded the songs "Stupid Cupid" and "Where the Boys Are" which were written by Neil himself. He signed with RCA Records and recorded chart topping hits like "Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen", "Calendar Girl", and who can forget "Breaking Up is Hard To Do". Sedaka wrote songs for musical legends Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Tom Jones and the Monkees to name a few. If the mood strikes you, feel free to sing along as this extraordinary vocalist and ageless songwriting talent sings the songs you grew up to and love. Following the performance, we will return to Niagara Falls for dinner included at a local restaurant. Your final performance will once again be at the Meridian Centre and feature Under the Street Lamp, the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. This talented foursome seen on PBS and all over the country, will take you back to the days when the Four Seasons made popular the songs "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Walk Like a Man", as well as the song that launched their career to stardom when it was performed on American Bandstand in the early 60's "Sherry". This high-energy performance will have you singing in your seats and tapping your toes to the beat! At the end of the performance, you will return to the hotel.
