DAY 1
Discover the beauty of the Amish farmlands and countryside, feast on an authentic, in-home Amish meal, and see the brand-new production of Daniel at Sight & Sound theatre. Upon arrival in Lancaster County, prepare for a unique and truly memorable experience as you are welcomed into an Amish family home, as their guests, for an authentic Amish meal. Enjoy their kind and gracious hospitality as the family serves you a hearty and delicious Penn Dutch feast. A "typical" meal will include two meat entrees, mashed potatoes, buttered noodles, vegetables, assorted cold relishes, homemade bread, beverages, and desserts (meal items may vary). A real taste of Amish life does not get any better than this! After you bid farewell to your Amish hosts, it is time for your show from center orchestra, section #103 seating! Take a trip to the city of Babylon, with biblical figure Daniel, who was deemed a prophet because of his ability to interpret dreams. As dangerous and as dark as Babylon might be, it was also impressive. It was also beautiful. The story of how Daniel got thrown into a lion's den - and lived - is perhaps the best known. After departure, you will make a short stop on the way home at a fast food stop.
